Join survivors, elders, artists, and community leaders for a day of remembrance, conversation, and healing. Antonia Gonzales, host of National Native News, will moderate a daylong series of panel discussions to examine the impact of boarding schools and how to move beyond the legacy of trauma they left behind. There will also be a preview of the Alaska Native Heritage Center’s new boarding school exhibit, a film screening, and ceremony. Lunch is provided.
