
Directions
The Alaska Native Heritage Center sits on 26 acres in northeast Anchorage. With easy access from The Glen Highwy or Muldoon road, our sign marks the one mile long winding driveway through the forest before you arrive at the Welcome House.
Location
The Center is located in northeast Anchorage, next to Bartlett High School. Just a short drive from downtown, the Center is surrounded by the majestic Chugach Mountains.
Driving Directions
From Glenn Highway:
Exit at Muldoon Road NORTH, off the Glenn Highway (be sure to look for the brown directional signs)
From Tudor Road:
Drive east on Tudor, which curves and becomes Muldoon Road
Continue driving until you drive over the Glenn Highway.
Take the first right, where the tan Alaska Native Heritage Center sign is located.
The ANHC driveway is approximately one-mile long.
Parking at the Center is free. There is plenty of room for RV parking as well.

Heritage Center Shuttle
ANHC is now providing complimentary shuttle transportation from five locations to the Heritage Center beginning on Summer: May 13 through Sept. 18, 2007. For groups of 10 or more, please call in advance so we can accommodate you.
